Sheet Metal Assembler Role Available in Bristol

Omega Resource Group is currently looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Assembler to join their team in Bristol. This is a permanent position with a salary range of £15ph - £17.50ph.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling steel components using hand-held tools and equipment, reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings, and working to client specifications. They will also need to operate overhead cranes and slinging techniques to assist fabrications, work to SAM quality procedures, and assist in the training and development of SAM apprentices.

Able candidates will possess a formal Sheetmetal/fabrication apprenticeship (desirable), experience of MIG welding (desirable), good hand/eye coordination, and the ability to work to SAM quality procedures and Health & Safety requirements. They will also demonstrate self-starter qualities, prioritise tasks, meet targets, and achieve deadlines.
