Senior Site Reliability Engineering Manager

RemoteStar is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineering Manager to join our client's team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and maintaining highly reliable infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of monitoring and automation tooling to ensure system health, performance, and reliability.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing SRE team through coaching, mentoring, and leading by example.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in incident management, including incident response, resolution, and post-mortem analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SRE and cloud platforms.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior or lead SRE role with a strong track record of building and maintaining highly reliable infrastructure and services.
  • Expertise in monitoring, alerting, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
