We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at esure Group. As a key member of our DevSecOps team, you will be responsible for protecting our information systems and networks from security breaches and cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities- Network Security Operations: Set up and maintain network firewalls, including Fortigate NGFW, to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
- Security Integration: Embed security tools and practices into our DevOps workflow, specifically on CI/CD pipelines, to automate security checks and ensure compliance.
- Vulnerability Management: Manage software vulnerabilities using tools such as Wiz, Sonarcloud, Cobalt, and other DevSecOps tools to identify and remediate potential security risks.
- Configuration Management: Detect and correct cloud and Kubernetes misconfigurations, providing guidance to DevOps and developers on secure configuration practices.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports detailing key performance indicators (KPIs) and security health trends, providing insights to inform security strategy and decision-making.
- Training and Education: Provide security awareness training and guidance to staff, promoting good security practices and ensuring a culture of security within the organization.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated ability to work in a networks team, with experience in setting up and maintaining Fortigate NGFW.
- Cloud Security Expertise: Solid grasp of cloud platforms, including networking and security features, with experience in cloud security and compliance.
- Programming and Infrastructure as Code: Proficient in programming languages such as Python and Terraform, with experience in infrastructure as code and DevOps practices.
- Security Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with security tools such as static code analysis (SAST), dynamic analysis (DAST), and vulnerability scanners, as well as experience with security automation and orchestration.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate security-related concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
