This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and a passion for delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities on heavy plant and equipment
- Assist the Engineering team in delivering on-time delivery, continuous flow, customer satisfaction, and zero defects
- Liaise with operations to prioritize breakdown repairs and use fault-finding diagnostic techniques and equipment to reduce the impact of reactive maintenance
- Assist the team in project work, QA systems, and Health and Safety
- Minimum of ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Extensive practical experience with relevant plant and equipment, including conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment
- Ability to fault find and problem solve using diagnostic equipment
- Sound working knowledge of Permit to Work systems and incident reporting
- Desirable: working knowledge of Programmable Logical Control or drive control systems and HV networks
