Job Description for Freight Assistant

We are seeking multiple Freight Assistants for a well-established logistics company based in the UK.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting drivers with deliveries, utilizing vans that have been preloaded by our warehouse team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers.

To be considered for this role, you must possess a valid UK driving license and meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a national insurance number
  • Speak fluent English, reading and writing to a good standard

This full-time position requires a commitment of approximately 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday, commencing at 5:30 am. The estimated salary for this role is £73 per hour.

The ideal candidate will be willing to work on an ongoing basis and commit to a full-time schedule, with opportunities for professional growth and development within our company.
