- Conduct comprehensive and complex parenting assessments, utilising evidence-based frameworks to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Develop robust reports that provide actionable recommendations for families and children.
- Leadership and Guidance
- Provide expert advice and guidance to social workers in the assessment process, ensuring high-quality practice.
- Champion high-quality practice through supervision and mentoring colleagues.
- Service Delivery and Improvement
- Contribute to the development and implementation of effective service delivery strategies that meet the needs of families and children.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous learning and improvement.
- A qualified Social Worker (ASW) with a minimum of 5 years' experience in children and family social work.
- Proven expertise in conducting high-quality parenting assessments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a diverse caseload.
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, a supportive working environment, opportunities for professional development and career progression, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families.
