About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sub-Specialty Optometrist to join our multidisciplinary team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality ophthalmic care to patients across east Suffolk and north Essex.

Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering sub-specialty ophthalmology care with significant previous experience.
  • Acting as an autonomous advanced clinical practitioner providing individualised clinical management for patients.
  • Supporting training and education within the department and wider optometry community.

Requirements:

  • BSc Hons Optometry or equivalent qualification.
  • GOC registration.
  • Professional post-graduate specialist qualification(s) relevant to sub-specialist practice.
