About the Role


The Academic Records Office (ARO) at the University of Oxford is seeking a Senior Data Officer to join their small team. As a Senior Data Officer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging college student administration with central University activities, supporting core operational activities such as registration, student loans, visas and immigration, and degree document production.


This role offers a chance to liaise with a variety of areas across the collegiate University and presents an ideal opportunity for developing a career in University administration.


Responsibilities will include working in Registration and Data Management, Assessment Review, Assessment Record Maintenance, and Results Processing.

About You


You should have excellent organisational and administrative skills, with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and be able to work as part of a team as well as independently using your own initiative.


You will have experience in the use of computerised student record systems and other IT packages, and the capacity to quickly acquire a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of complex examination regulations and procedures.


You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
