About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to work on a variety of vehicle makes and models at our client's main site in Harrogate. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  3. Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
  4. Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  5. Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 equivalent or higher.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a vehicle technician.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
