Estate Financial Support Professional

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Support Professional to join our Estates Team. As a key member of the team, you will provide finance support to the Senior Asset Manager and other team members, ensuring the effective management of operations and budgets within the corporate property portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor day-to-day budgeting for the corporate property portfolio through the Councils financial system ERP Gold.
- Support the Senior Asset Manager and Senior Account Officer with analysis of financial information, providing advice where appropriate.
- Review and challenge contract summary information to enable the submission of work requisitions for project work.
- Provide advice to members of the Asset Management team to improve their financial awareness.
- Maintain allocated major supplier accounts, ensuring timely payment and reconciliation of statements.
- Support other members of the Asset Management team by producing monthly debt reports and identifying escalation routes.
About you
We require a self-motivated individual with excellent numeracy and written skills, comfortable using IT systems and possessing good time management skills. You will be a team player with common sense, able to deal with daily queries and process orders and invoices generated by the Estates Team.
