Water Quality Monitoring Position

RPS Water Operations requires a skilled Water Sampling Technician to join their Belfast-based team. This role entails delivering exceptional customer service and executing intricate operational tasks.

Key Tasks:
  1. Collecting chemical and bacteriological water samples from various sources, including service reservoirs, water treatment works, and consumer taps.
  2. Sampling water from wastewater treatment sites when required.
  3. Conducting on-site chlorine testing of water samples.
  4. Measuring temperature of waste samples and all samples in transit.
  5. Returning water samples to the NI Water labs within agreed timeframes daily.
  6. Transporting samples between NI Water locations as needed.
  7. Completing paperwork for quality assurance purposes.

Working Environment:
  • Lifting heavy inspection chamber lids.
