Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Jark PLC in the Redditch area. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity, offering the chance to work on a variety of metal fabrication projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced metal fabrications environment.
  • Accurately calculate blank sizes and bend allowances to meet manufacturing specifications.
  • Interpret detailed manufacturing lists and technical drawings to complete fabrication tasks.
  • Understand supplier manuals to ensure accurate completion of fabrication methods.
  • Recognize profile orientations and technical drawings to inform fabrication decisions.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to Health and Safety protocols and manual handling procedures.

Suitable Candidate:

  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in metal fabrication.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in previous positions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Additional Information:

This is a part-time position, available Monday through Thursday and Fridays. The hourly rate for this role is up to £14 per hour, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking to supplement their income.
