The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Fabric Sourcing Partner. In this role, you will support the drive to position ASOS globally as a leading fashion brand through fabric innovation, trend, and sustainability. You will work closely with key mills to drive new fabric trends and first-to-market fashion, gaining market price intelligence on volume fabrics to drive margin. The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the implementation of cross-functional fabric management data systems, working with commercial teams to identify seasonal volume fabric pots for consolidation, cost saving, and standardization.
  2. Explore and drive consolidation opportunities across key retail departments, negotiating the best fabric prices and delivery directly with garment manufacturers, fabric suppliers, and agents.
  3. Work closely with agents, mills, and manufacturers to gain full transparency of fabric origins as part of the wider ASOS Fashion with Integrity initiative.
  4. Research and present regular fabric trend updates, sourcing new fabrics as appropriate ahead of the season.
  5. Collaborate with the Sustainability and Ethical Teams to work towards the FWI targets.

Your Requirements

  • Relevant working experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • In-depth understanding of different fabric types within product categories (Jersey, outerwear, Tailoring etc) and where to source fashion and basic fabrics.
  • Textile degree is preferred.
  • Experience in line managing is beneficial to this role.
