We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a key player in our security operations, you will be responsible for protecting critical information across air, land, maritime, and cyber domains.
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for controlling access at key points, escorting contractors and visitors, monitoring CCTV systems, and maintaining a visible security presence. You will work closely with an experienced security team and report directly to the onsite Supervisor.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 1-2 years of security experience, including experience with gatehouse operations, CCTV use, and access control passes. You will also need to have a valid SIA Licence and a full UK driving licence with own transport.
Essential Skills- SIA Licence
- Full UK Driving Licence with own transport
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Right to work in the UK and 5 year checkable history including education and/or employment
- Ability to pass a high level of security clearance
- Previous security experience - 1-2yrs minimum
- Experience with gatehouse operations, CCTV use and Access Control passes
- IT Literate
