Job Introduction
We're seeking a skilled Network Technician to join our team in the Midsomer Norton area. As a Network Technician, you'll be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of our underground and overhead network up to 66kV.
Main Responsibilities
- Network operations, including the issue of Limitations of Access and Permit to Work safety documents up to 66kV
- Construction of distribution substations, construction and alteration of overhead lines, and installation of plant
- Repair and replacement of faulty and obsolete plant, cables, and overhead lines
- Recording asset routes, details, and positions
- Recording plant details
- Connecting generators
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a candidate who can work independently as part of a small team, make on-the-spot decisions, and possess good communication skills. You'll need to be flexible, able to cope with pressured situations, and willing to train as an SAP. If you're a team player with a passion for electrical engineering, we'd love to hear from you.
