Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Private Client solicitor to join our busy department in Tonbridge. As an Asset Management Lawyer, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of files with minimal supervision, focusing on wills, trusts, estates, and tax issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a caseload of files with minimal supervision
  2. Provide expert advice on wills, trusts, estates, and tax issues
  3. Assist clients with estate and care fees planning
  4. Prepare and execute wills and lasting powers of attorney
  5. Represent clients in the Court of Protection
  6. Administer trusts and estates
  7. Provide inheritance tax planning and investment advice
  8. Assist charities with legal matters
  9. Act as a deputy for clients

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of private client law, particularly in the areas of wills, trusts, estates, and tax. You must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and client management skills are essential.
