Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Qualifying Engineer to join our team at Kier Group, working on sites across London and the surrounding areas.

This role is perfect for individuals with a strong background in electrical maintenance, who are looking to take on a supervisory position and lead a team of skilled engineers.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Qualifying Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Performing electrical maintenance tasks to the highest standards, ensuring all work is completed to specification.
  • Leading a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on electrical systems and plant, using your technical expertise to resolve complex issues.
  • Installing new electrical equipment and plant, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong background in electrical maintenance, with a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with electrical systems and plant, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of engineers.
  • A JIB / ECS Gold card, demonstrating your commitment to electrical safety and quality.
