Your Key Tasks
- Adapt conversations with every customer to ensure they leave the pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
- Deliver the technical aspects of the dispensary while ensuring the safe supply of medicines, including ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collection of prescriptions.
- Comply with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice in Boots.
- Identify opportunities to engage with GPs and practice teams to promote services and items.
- Ensure efficient dispensary operations and minimising dispensing losses.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have either an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services or be working towards it and have completed the first year of an MPharm course at university. You will also need to have completed a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent.
