Credit and Sales Ledger Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Ledger and Credit Controller to join our team at The Millboard Company. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing our sales ledger and credit control processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of sales invoices, credit notes, and customer payments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily banking and bank reconciliations
- Process cashbook postings and allocate cash
- Raise sales invoices and credit notes
- Set up new customer accounts and monitor credit limits
- Issue monthly statements and produce sales reports and debtors reports
- Perform other accounting work as required
- CIMA or ACCA qualified
- Thorough understanding of accounting and costing processes
- 3 years' experience in a manufacturing business
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time organisation and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to continue learning and adapting to evolving business needs
- Strong communication skills and team player with people management skills
