We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team at Melton Community Hospital. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and supervision to the ward team, ensuring high standards of patient care and contributing to the improvement of services and quality of care provision.
Key Responsibilities- Deputise for the Team Leader in their absence and provide effective clinical leadership and supervision to the ward team.
- Actively contribute to setting and maintaining high standards of nursing care, including the co-ordination of the nursing team and provision of clinical leadership.
- Contribute as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) to the improvement of services and quality of care provision to meet the needs of patients and their families.
- Act as a role model, mentoring, teaching, assessing and supporting students and learners on placement and participate in the education, development and mentorship of other staff.
