Job Summary:

Mango Solutions Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled LGV Class 2 Vacuum Tanker Driver to join our team. As a key member of our waste management team, you will be responsible for operating vacuum tankers to collect and dispose of wet waste in the Reading area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and operate vacuum tankers to collect and dispose of wet waste
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
  • Complete drivers' log books and waste transfer notes
  • Maintain vehicles and equipment in good condition
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure it is in good condition
  • Assist with ad-hoc duties when vehicles are off the road or support other team members
  • Communicate effectively with customers

Requirements:

  • LGV Class 2 license required
  • Driver CPC required
  • 2 years' experience in driving and operating vacuum tankers (preferred)
  • Good geographical knowledge (beneficial)

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary based on 45 hours per week
  • Overtime rate of £20.00 per hour for hours worked outside of 45 hours
  • 20 days' holiday per year plus 8 bank holidays
