Court Usher Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and professional Court Usher to join our team at Brook Street NMR. As a Court Usher, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the court, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all users.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet members of the public and provide a warm welcome to the court
- Liaise with judiciary, witnesses, jurors, and other court users with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform basic administrative duties, including data entry, dealing with queries, and preparing juror packs
- Provide support to all users of the court, including those who may be experiencing their first time in court
- Ensure the court rooms are prepared and ready for use
- Perform filing and post room duties as required
Requirements
- Good strong basic admin experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to remain calm in potentially difficult situations
- Ability to remain professional at all times and converse with a variety of court users
- Excellent customer service skills
