About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and professional Court Usher to join our team at Brook Street NMR. As a Court Usher, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the court, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet members of the public and provide a warm welcome to the court
  • Liaise with judiciary, witnesses, jurors, and other court users with professionalism and courtesy
  • Perform basic administrative duties, including data entry, dealing with queries, and preparing juror packs
  • Provide support to all users of the court, including those who may be experiencing their first time in court
  • Ensure the court rooms are prepared and ready for use
  • Perform filing and post room duties as required

Requirements

  • Good strong basic admin experience
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to remain calm in potentially difficult situations
  • Ability to remain professional at all times and converse with a variety of court users
  • Excellent customer service skills
