Premises Officer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Premises Officer to join our team at Novax Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our premises, ensuring that all facilities are in good working order, and providing excellent customer service to our clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portering duties, general maintenance, and minor repairs at all locations
  • Action daily centre-related tasks and those set out on the premises team task system
  • Collection and distribution of incoming mail, parcels, and other deliveries
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to visitors, centre users, and colleagues
  • Liaising with the premises team leader and/or premises and facilities manager
  • Regular inspections of equipment and daily inspections of boiler equipment
  • Ensuring internal/external grounds are maintained in a clean and tidy manner

Requirements:

  • Experience of carrying out minor repairs
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of heating and ventilation systems and basic DIY procedures
  • Ability to remain calm in emergencies and deal with sensitive issues
