As a key member of the Asia-Pacific Trade and Investment team, you will lead the execution and contribute to the development of a programme of activities and customer engagements, across the targeted opportunity areas aligning with Scotland's renewable energy transition in their market.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Apply innovative thought to identify and match opportunities in Scotland with the targeted companies' needs and proactively work with them to uncover or co-generate potential new inward investment projects and opportunities for international trade.
  • Generate and engage with target companies by identifying and forming trusted relationships, ensuring a clear understanding of Scotland and its opportunity areas for inward investment and trade.
  • Promote and deliver trade opportunities by proactively developing trade development opportunities for the Scottish Offshore Wind supply chain to export to South Korea.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in Korean and business level English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • IT literate and comfortable using Microsoft packages such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
