Role Overview
This Mechanical Engineer for Logistics Operations role is an exciting opportunity to join a leading engineering company in Corby. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in our warehouse, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality products.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 16.5% pension contribution and 24 days annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays.
Job Description
In this Full-Time Engineering Role in Corby, you will work on a rotational shift pattern, Monday to Friday, with some out-of-hours cover required. You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Carrying out routine inspections and testing to identify potential issues
- Collaborating with colleagues to resolve technical problems and improve processes
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this Mechanical Engineer for Logistics Operations role, you will need:
- A mechanical bias with basic electrical knowledge
- Experience working in a similar role in a distribution/logistics/warehouse/manufacturing site
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
