About the Role

Budwood, a leading provider of residential care and support services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in Bournemouth.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe and nurturing environment
  • Support young people in achieving their goals and aspirations
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people, particularly those with emotional behavioural difficulties
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including sleep-ins and shift work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take direction
  • Hold a relevant qualification in residential childcare or a related field (or be willing to work towards one)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
