Job Title: Senior CDM and H&S Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CDM and H&S Consultant to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering CDM and H&S consultancy services to our clients from our Bristol office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver CDM and H&S consultancy services to existing and new clients
  • Understand client needs and proactively identify solutions to their challenges
  • Ensure consistent delivery of service excellence in meeting client needs and expectations
  • Develop existing systems and processes to improve CDM and H&S efficiency
  • Provide expert advice and act as Principal Designer as required
  • Establish positive relations with clients to gain confidence and become a trusted advocate
  • Represent Turner & Townsend in a professional and diligent manner
  • Manage all commissions to ensure client expectations and business management system requirements are met
  • Carry out H&S performance reviews, audits, and other tasks as required
  • Liaise with SHQ and wider Turner & Townsend colleagues to contribute to team effectiveness
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to effectively plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines
  • Good IT skills to generate reports and documents
  • Solutions driven
  • Creative thinker
  • Excellent client empathy
  • Extensive knowledge and experience within the Construction Industry, specifically around the CDM Regulations
  • Experience of a diverse range of industry sectors desired
  • Experience as a Principal Designer desired
Qualifications:
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • Full UK driving licence
  • NEBOSH Diploma Level (or equivalent)
  • GradIOSH or equivalent
  • Membership of the APS
