We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Sustaining Engineering team. As an integral part of this team, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to drive innovation and maintain our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and test electrical, electronic, and electromechanical subsystems and components to meet project requirements.
  • Write comprehensive design specifications and develop detailed test plans and specifications for assessing electrical components and subsystems.
  • Establish and document test specifications for electrical and electronic controls.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to develop subsystems and components.
  • Design subsystems and components to meet marketing specifications and regulatory standards, ensuring integration with the overall system design.
  • Provide support for production, address quality issues (QIs), and continuous improvements (CIs), and engage in problem-solving activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in applying logical or scientific principles to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Familiarity with engineering design software and equipment.
  • Experience with assembly C or higher-level programming for microcontroller-based electronic controls.
  • Capability to write technical reports and complete documentation within required deadlines.
  • Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on overall project goals and outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Eagerness to learn and understand motor controls.
