Accountancy Expertise Ltd: Seeking an Experienced Accounts Semi-Senior/Senior

We are a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants, and we are seeking an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior/Senior to join our team in Chandlers Ford.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Preparation: Prepare accounts for a mixed portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Financial Planning and Review: Plan, review, and finalise accounts, including preparation, approval, and monitoring of budgets and financial statements.
  • Client Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing complex queries and adjustments in a professional manner.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coach junior/trainee staff, reviewing their work to ensure high standards.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax computations for sole traders, partnerships, LLPs, and Limited companies.
  • Commercial Awareness: Monitor budgets and understand commercial aspects, including billing and collection.
  • Company Secretarial Duties: Complete company secretarial duties by set deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with accounting changes and attend training courses as necessary.

We are ideally looking for someone with previous practice experience of at least 2-3 years, with a good knowledge of accounts and FRS102. You will also possess excellent communication and organisational skills. Study support will be offered to complete professional exams such as ACA/ACCA if required.

An understanding of systems such as Sage and Xero would be an advantage.
