About the Role:

Job Summary:

This position demands an accomplished Child and Adolescent Psychologist to lead the provision of specialist psychological services to children and adolescents facing significant mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating seamless collaboration with healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development of effective treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each client.
  2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and community organizations to enhance overall care.
  3. Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in child mental health and evidence-based interventions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience working within a child mental health service.
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, particularly in a CAMHS setting.
  • Possesses a clinical psychology doctorate and is registered with the HCPC.

Expected Salary Range: £58,000 - £68,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
