We're seeking an experienced Housing Operations Manager to join our team in Cannock. As a key member of our neighbourhood services team, you'll work independently to manage a patch of around two hundred homes, ensuring properties are well maintained, customers are aware of their responsibilities, and providing coaching and guidance.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a customer-facing role, ideally within housing management. You'll be responsible for managing tenancy sign-ups and changes, anti-social behaviour and safeguarding, as well as court work and evictions where necessary. Your holistic approach will involve building good relationships with local services and making a positive impact on our customers' lives.

Job Description

In this role, you'll work closely with our maintenance and lettings teams to effectively allocate empty homes, manage customers' expectations around repairs, and escalate property maintenance issues. You'll need excellent communication skills, natural curiosity, and the ability to navigate challenging conversations. Your empathy, combined with efficiency and problem-solving skills, will be key to success in this position.

Benefits

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, full-time position subject to an enhanced DBS check. You'll manage a patch around Cannock (WS11 7WT), with travel to and from surrounding areas required. Regular home working is available. A competitive salary is offered, with an estimated £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
