About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Mobile Engineering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our forklift fleet by performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Fault Finding and Repair: Conduct thorough fault finding and repair procedures to identify and rectify any issues with our forklifts.
  2. Maintenance Scheduling: Plan and execute regular maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of our forklifts.
  3. Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with our clients through effective communication and a proactive approach to resolving any issues that may arise.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the team to ensure seamless operation and achieve shared goals.
  5. Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a forklift technician or similar role in the material handling industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of forklift systems, including mechanics, electrics, and hydraulics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy parts and equipment.
