As a 3D Generalist at Koffeecup, you will be an integral part of our core team, contributing to the development of our overall vision and ensuring technical feasibility. Your expertise will help identify and analyze risks, resolve complex issues, and approve technical specifications.
Your role will involve creating high-quality 3D assets for games and applications, optimizing models for runtime applications, and assessing existing tools to design custom ones that support art pipelines and workflows. You will also represent the art team in technical discussions and requirements meetings, write documentation, and provide training to other departments.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, or a related field, as well as 3+ years of experience as a 3D Generalist in the video game industry. Advanced knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity, Maya, Photoshop, Substance Designer, and version control software like Perforce or Git is essential. Strong understanding of creative and game development processes, open-mindedness, and self-motivation are also required.
