Wetland Reserve Manager

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team at WWT as a Wetland Reserve Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who shares our passion for conservation and biodiversity to help manage and enhance the reserve.
The role will involve supporting the planning and practical management of the wetland reserve, including species monitoring and upkeep and development of site infrastructure.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality public engagement and providing excellent customer service.
About the Role- This is a 1-year fixed term maternity cover position, working full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a varied schedule including weekends and bank holidays.
- We are looking for someone with experience in a reserve management role, ideally with certification and experience using machinery such as brushcutters, tractors, and chainsaws.
- A good understanding of field skills in at least one major taxonomic group (birds, invertebrates, plants) is essential.
