We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join our dynamic secondary school in Sunderland. As a Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging physics lessons that cater to varying learning abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans in line with the national curriculum.
  • Encourage student participation and critical thinking through interactive teaching methods.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to departmental initiatives.
  • Participate in school events and support extracurricular activities related to science.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Physics or a related discipline.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous teaching experience at the secondary level is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
  • A passion for physics and a commitment to student development.
