About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a critical role in the servicing, repair, and maintenance of vehicles and electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections, servicing, repair, and overhaul of vehicles, assemblies, electrical, and general equipment, including diagnostic duties.
- Diagnose and assess vehicles and associated mechanical/electrical equipment in line with skills and competency.
- Ensure accurate recording of job transactions and completion of vehicle and equipment documentation.
- Ensure stores and equipment issued to job are used for their correct purpose.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Hydraulics experience.
- Dealership or Local Garage experience.
- A real team player with the ability to adapt and build rapport.
Qualifications
- Educated to Level-3 in Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) / National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) as a minimum.
- Holds at a minimum Category-3 F-Gas Qualification.
- Holds 18th Edition Electrics Qualification.
- Holds valid and appropriate UK driving licence.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
