Transformative Opportunities in Global Crude Trading

Phillips 66 is seeking a visionary Senior Crude Oil Trader to join our high-performing Global Crude Trading team. As a key member of this elite group, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and managing risk across our refining system.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Global Sweet Crude traders to unlock new trading opportunities and strengthen our presence in the London Crude market.
  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize crude trading activity, leveraging your expertise in market analysis and risk management.
  • Oversight of supply purchase requirements to ensure seamless operations and maximize refining asset value.
  • Manage market structure and price risk for P66 system cargos, ensuring our competitive edge in the market.
  • Support the growth of our Europe crude derivatives book by driving value from BFOETM optionality.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive value from P66 crude exports, including assistance in the development of US exports physical activity in Europe.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and maintenance of Phillips 66' Global Consolidated DTD exposure profile for Europe & US exports Crude physical activity.
  • Work closely with the Market Strategist, global crude and products traders on analysis, including pre-trade cycle analysis.
  • Partner with Market Analysis to develop P66 Market Analysis capability.
  • Play a leading role in developing commerciality and trading capability across the global crude function and London commercial in general.
  • Assume shared responsibility for Atlantic Basin (North Sea) book position and P&L.
  • Liaise with other departments such as risk, contracts, finance and IT, acting as an ambassador for Global Crude Trading and assisting in the development of capability of back and middle office on support of global crude trading growth.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Hold the legal right to live and work in the UK on a permanent basis without restriction or meet the criteria for employer sponsorship.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role with a proven track record of earnings.
  • Internal Only: Must have attended and passed the Phillips 66 Trader Assessment Course
