Royal Air Force Musician Opportunities

The Royal Air Force is seeking talented musicians to join its music program. As a RAF Musician, you will have the opportunity to perform at top concert venues, national events, and royal engagements, while also providing music support for the RAF, Ministry of Defence, and Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

About the Role
You will be part of a team that performs at various events, including ceremonial parades, concerts, and private functions. You will also have the opportunity to work with other military bands and ensembles, as well as collaborate with civilian musicians and composers.

Requirements
  • Perform to a minimum Grade 8 standard as defined by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music or equivalent.
  • Aged 17.5 – 47 years old (Must attest before 48th birthday).
  • Citizen of the UK, Republic of Ireland, or a Commonwealth citizen with 'right to work' immigration status since birth.
  • Commit to a minimum 3 years after specialist training.
  • Pass a fitness test.
