Accounts Payable Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team at Office Angels. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all Accounts Payable functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 4 and ensure the efficient processing of Accounts Payable tasks.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with CAPP standards and mitigate the risk of theft and fraud.
  • Oversee internal controls and ensure accurate posting of invoices to the correct GLs.
  • Process electronic transfers and payments, review staff expenses, and conduct aged creditor reviews.
  • Maintain, approve, and reconcile Accounts Payable transactions.
  • Authorise payment runs and foster inclusive and respectful working relationships.
  • Effective communication with co-workers and the wider accounts team.
Requirements:
  • Accounts payable qualification CAPP.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Professional attitude and ability to engage with people at all levels.
  • Strong customer focus and good knowledge of Oracle-based systems.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience working across multiple Outlook inboxes.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
