About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Barclays Bank. As a key member of our digital landscape, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and improve software solutions using various engineering methodologies.

  • Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
Requirements
  • Experience in Abinitio, Hadoop platform, and Cloud Technologies tools like DBT, GLUE, Lambda.
  • Strong SQL skills in Hive, Impala, and Teradata.
  • Experience working as part of an agile team in credit risk regulatory and compliance data delivery projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
