Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team within a Client's Approving Authority. The successful candidate will primarily support operations and future programs at client sites, working alongside Mechanical, Civil, Building Services, and Electrical Engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Author, develop, assess, and maintain Engineering Design Substantiation for Clyde Nuclear Facilities
  • Ensure Design Intent, Critical Safety Functions, and Safety and Operational Requirements are met in accordance with current best practices and regulatory standards
  • Apply engineering knowledge in high-risk environments, including design assessment for reinforced concrete and steelwork structures, dynamic loads, and marine structures
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in design assessment for reinforced concrete and steelwork structures, including dynamic loads
  • Experience with reinforced concrete and steelwork marine structures and jetties
  • Strong foundation in general and specialist engineering knowledge, utilizing both existing and emerging technologies
