Job Title: Pre-Construction Surveyor

Location: London

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time, Monday-Friday

Ventro Group, an innovative company focused on fire-safety services and net zero retrofit, is seeking a skilled Pre-Construction Surveyor to join their team. As a key member of the Ventro Group, you will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections and surveys related to fire compartmentation and passive fire protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Door Inspections: Conduct regular planned door inspections, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards.
  2. Door Surveys: Perform one-off surveys to assess the condition of doors and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Compartment Surveys: Carry out detailed surveys to identify and document compartmentation line errors within buildings.
  4. Survey Oversight: Oversee and manage surveys for remedial works, including proposing detailed remedial actions and specifying required materials and quantities.
  5. Survey Quotation Review: Review and validate quotations produced from survey findings, ensuring no areas of the building are omitted.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in using IT, and have a keen attention to detail. They will also demonstrate a strong commercial mindset, a solid understanding of building compartmentation lines and fire safety regulations, and be committed to continuous professional development.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
