Heavy Vehicle Technician

The Solution Automotive Limited is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team in the Manchester Area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and repairs to our customers' vehicles.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires the candidate to work 4 shifts on 4 off, with a total of 176 hours per month. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry or main dealership. Full City & Guilds qualifications are required, and a UK Driving Licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
As an HGV Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Performing all services according to the manufacturer's instructions and schedule/service processor
2. Conducting visual inspections, adjustments, operating fluid changes, and replacement of worn equipment
3. Identifying deviations and initiating order expansions/feedback to customers
4. Resetting the maintenance system
5. Cleaning and caring for customer vehicles
6. Repairing and replacing parts as needed
7. Collaborating with Systems Technicians on more extensive repair jobs
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
1. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
4. Prior experience in a similar role or industry
5. Full City & Guilds qualifications and certified technician status
6. UK Driving Licence and HGV Licence (desirable)

We offer a competitive salary of £38,500 per annum, plus an additional £300 per month, dependant on experience. Our benefits package includes:
