We are seeking a highly skilled Mathematics Instructor to join our team at the National Skills Agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering GCSE Maths to learners on a full-time basis, working 37.50 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Maths at Functional Skills and GCSE levels
  • Work with a caseload of learners to understand and agree their starting points and skills development needs
  • Deal with learners face-to-face in our academies and remotely as required
  • Carry out learner inductions and associated processes
  • Deliver a timetable of learning as agreed with the Academy Manager
  • Undertake qualification delivery and planning in collaboration with team members and the Skills Academy Manager
  • Ensure ILPS are completed appropriately to individual learner requirements
  • Monitor attendance and performance of learners and report to management
  • Provide support systems to facilitate positive retention, achievement, and progression
  • Complete assessment and documentation to meet awarding body, funding body, and organisational requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners, colleagues, and management. They will also have a strong understanding of Maths and the ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
