We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Lawyer to join our team at Addleshaw Goddard. As a key member of our Commercial & Regulatory sub-team, you will play a crucial role in advising on complex commercial and regulatory issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice to all areas of the firm on a wide range of commercial and regulatory issues;
  • Contribute information and analysis on upcoming issues, legislation, regulatory change, market intelligence, and best practice;
  • Undertake company secretarial activity required in respect of entities affiliated to the firm;
  • Assist in handling issues arising from the regulatory obligations of the firm and its individuals;
  • Support the development of risk management policies and procedures;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A UK qualified lawyer with at least 2 years' PQE and commercial experience gained in private practice;
  • An eye for detail while being able to see 'the big picture';
  • The ability to tailor your approach to every client, delivering high-quality and tailored legal support;
  • Excellent influencing and persuasive skills, including the ability to win over others and achieve partner sponsorship;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently as well as within a wider team;
  • A practical and common-sense approach, with the ability to deal with confidential matters with discretion.
