Graduate Estimator Job Description

We are seeking a talented Graduate Estimator to join our London team. As a Graduate Estimator, you will play a key role in producing detailed and competitive tender submissions, working closely with our Estimating Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Submission Preparation: Assist in compiling submissions of inclusions, exclusions, clarifications, and program of works.
  2. Project Liaison: Liaise and report to senior management on ongoing project submissions.
  3. Supply Chain Management: Research and source best-in-class subcontractors/suppliers.
  4. Quotation Evaluation: Evaluate returned quotations from the supply chain and liaise with supply chain members to bring quotations in line with project specification requirements.
  5. Risk Assessment: Assess financial, technical, and operational risks of the project.
  6. Meetings and Collaboration: Attend Estimating and Site meetings.
Requirements:
  1. A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  2. Construction work experience, either on-site or in a consultancy practice.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  4. A basic understanding of Cost X software.
  5. Excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
  6. The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
