We are seeking a seasoned Safety, Health and Environmental Manager to join our Doncaster team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving environmental excellence across the site, ensuring that best practices and statutory obligations are fully met.

About the Role
  • Develop, manage and implement the SHE strategy for the site, aligning it with the UK and Wabtec Global vision.
  • Collaborate with site management and supervision to embed a safety culture, promoting full employee engagement in SHE activities.
  • Coach and develop the SHE team, fostering partnerships with the business to ensure personal and professional growth.
  • Implement a site audit program, ensuring compliance with legislation and management system requirements.
  • Monitor audits, address remedial recommendations and maintain open communication with external regulatory bodies.
About You
  • A proven track record of delivering SHE improvements in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation, along with practical experience in SHE law.
  • Regulatory compliance experience (ISO's 45001, 14001, 18001, 9001 etc.) is highly valued.
  • Previous people management experience and NEBOSH Health & Safety Qualification are essential.
