Chief Cardiac Physiologist Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at the Isle of Wight NHS Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for performing and reporting on a range of highly specialised Cardiac Investigations.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform and report on a range of highly specialised Cardiac Investigations
- Independently perform and report on adult transthoracic Echocardiograms to BSE standard
- Actively engage in the leadership and management of the department, in line with the organisation's values: Compassion, Accountability, Respect & Everyone Counts
- Actively participate in MDT meetings providing specialist knowledge to other Physiologists and medical staff
- Undertake clinical supervision and training within the Cardiac Investigations Department
- Maintain high standards of care in an environment which promotes equality, dignity, and sensitivity for all individuals
Key Requirements
- BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent
- Working towards British Society of Echocardiography accreditation/ Heart rhythm society accreditation
- Excellent Physical Dexterity Skills
- Frequent requirement to exert moderate physical effort which may include working in an awkward position, movement of patients in wheelchairs and manoeuvring equipment
- Requirement for frequent prolonged concentration
- Able to support others and provide clinical supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
