Delivery Excellence with Royal Mail

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Delivery Postie with Driving. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across the region.

About the Role

This is a permanent contract position, working 30 hours per week, 5 days a week. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings and afternoons, and may be required to work on Saturdays and Sundays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
  • Operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and bicycles
  • Meet and exceed delivery targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to walk for long periods and work in a variety of weather conditions
