Senior Draughtsman Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Draughtsman to join our team at a leading architectural metalwork firm based in Basildon, Essex. As a Senior Draughtsman, you will play a key role in the design and creation of fabrication and GA drawings for commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret architects' and engineers' drawings, specifications, and calculations
  • Creation of fabrication and GA drawings to enable accurate manufacture and installation
  • Work to deadlines and manage workload efficiently
  • Collaborate with structural engineers, production, and installation teams
  • Conduct site surveys when required and manage RFI's and site queries
  • Assist the workshop with drawing queries
Requirements:
  • Excellent organisational ability and prioritisation skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Extensive experience in the design of Balustrades, Balconies, Staircases, Handrails, Support, and General Steelwork
